4 – 8 pm – Festival of Trees – This Year’s “Festival of Trees’ Is being organized and sponsored by The Central Pennsylvania Institute of Science and Technology as part of the event weekend. This community event will help usher in the holiday season by transforming CPI into a winter wonderland, with decorated trees, entertainment, food, and   The event takes place Friday through Sunday in partnership with the Bellefonte Victorian Christmas event.  Proceeds will help support  Centre County United Way Partner Agencies and CPI Student Organizations.  Friday, December 13th, 4pm-7pm, Saturday, December 14th, 9pm-8pm, and Sunday, December 15th, 12pm-4pm.  Central PA Institute of Science Technology, Harrison Road.  Admission:  Adults $2; children $1.  A free shuttle for Festival of Trees being held at CPI on Harrison Road will be available at the Bellefonte High School and on the Diamond. 5 pm – 8 pm – Horse-drawn Carriage Rides In addition to the regularly schedule carriage rides offered Friday evening, we they will be available on request to provide unique and intimate rides, whether you would like a special tour of the town, a carriage ride to your dinner reservation, or to the Opening Ceremony at the Elementary School. Looks like we will have warm weather for the Bellefonte Victorian Christmas.  No snow, but rain!!!  Due to the long range forecast, our Opening Ceremony has been moved indoors to the Bellefonte Elementary School auditorium ensuring all will be warm and dry!

Important Parking Notice:  Due to the Arts and Crafts Show Move In and Set Up, ALL PARKING for Opening Ceremony will BE ON STREET as the playground parking lot behind Bellefonte Elementary School is reserved for vendors only.  We appreciate your flexibility and we look forward to seeing you!

9 am – 5 pm – Arts & Crafts Show and Sale Dozens of artists, artisans, and crafters will be displaying their wares for holiday gifting. A lovely place to buy handmade gifts.  The Victorian Christmas Arts & Crafts Show is presented in cooperation with Bellefonte Historical and Cultural Association and the Bellefonte Victorian Christmas Committee.   All Venues Are Located Downtown.  The Arts & Crafts Venues locations are at the YMCA on W. *9 am – 6 pm – Free shuttle bus and parking Saturday only, between Bellefonte Middle School and High School parking lots, on the diamond downtown, corner of Allegheny and Linn, and CPI Festival of Trees. Due to the Bellefonte Woman’s Club History On Wheels Guided Tour accommodations, we encourage you to take advantage of the Free Shuttle as parking will be very limited downtown.  Save time and park free at the Bellefonte Middle School and Bellefonte High School.  From the High School parking lot the buses will take you to the Bellefonte Middle School then to the front of the courthouse.  Saturday only there will also be a specially marked bus at the high school parking lot and on the diamond that will travel to the Festival of Trees at CPI on Harrison Road.

8:30 am – 12 pm – Knights of Columbus All Can Eat Pancake Breakfast to benefit Toys for Tots on Sunday, December 15th. Breakfast will be served from 8:30 until noon at the Bellefonte Knights of Columbus Hall; 315 Stony Batter. Anyone bringing in a new unwrapped toy will be admitted FREE. For those who wish to pay for their meal (all proceeds will be donated to the Toys For Tots Program), adult meals will be priced at $8.00, meals for children under the age of twelve years will cost $4.00, and little diners under the age of seven years may eat for free. 6 pm – To conclude the weekend of Victorian Christmas, the Bellefonte Ministerium of churches will host an ecumenical Advent Worship Service of Lessons and Carols on Sunday, Dec. 15th at 6pm at the First Presbyterian Church, 203 N. Spring St. in Bellefonte with a time of fellowship and goodies to follow.
